Diablo 4 Latest Patch: XP Gain Increased Big

The latest patch for Diablo 4 has just been released, and it brings several bug fixes and mechanical improvements for a smoother gameplay experience. One of the biggest changes, at least for those who manage to beat the game's Grand Challenge, is for XP gains. Specifically, these changes affect payoffs in the infamous "End Game," which should keep hardcore gamers happy for the time being.

The full list of patch notes can be found here, along with all previous patch notes, and we hope more developers adopt this practice. However, we're most interested in the following three entries, which are specific to end-game activities, and the XP you earn upon completion:

Greatly increased experience gained from completing Nightmare Dungeons.

Greatly increased experience gained from killing monsters in the Nightmare Dungeon.

Hellgate chests now provide more bonus XP when opened.

Hopefully this move will make the level 50-100 experience a little more comfortable. XP tweaks seem to be a hot-button issue at Blizzard lately, with the infamous dungeons being nerfed in an attempt to combat unintentional XP farming during regular leveling.
